Welcome to Easy-IP

This page will help you get started with Easy-IPv7.


Easy-IPv7 is an exciting new IP Address Management solution, designed to help you understand, plan and manage IP Address space, across your entire network infrastructure.

It takes less than 30 minutes to get up and running. No appliances. No scripts. No hassles.

System Requirements

  • Server: Windows 2012 or 2016
  • Client: Windows 7,8,10 or XP
  • CPU: Pentium 4, 2Ghz or higher
  • RAM: 4Gb minimum, 8Gb recommended for the server
  • SQL Server: Firebird 2.5 SQL (included)
  • Web Server: Thinfinity VirtualUI (included)
  • Browser: Any HTML5 compatible, IE10 or 11, Chrome, Firefox

Full server installation requires ˜300Mb of free disk space.
Client installation requires ˜160Mb of free disk space.
Database requires 1Gb of free disk space per 500k IP addresses.
VMware is supported with the above system requirements.
ThinfinityUI Web Server only supported on Windows 2012 or 2016 server


  1. Run the Easy-IP installer.
  2. gui
  3. If prompted to install additional components, check all the boxes.
  4. gui
  5. For each prompt, accept all the default settings and click Next.
  6. Wait for the installation process to complete, then press Finish.
  7. gui

Note: As with any new software, we recommend you install it on a test server before going live, to ensure it is compatible with your OS and network environment.
For a clean installation, we recommend you completely remove the previous version first, before installing any new version.


To create a new Easy-IPv7 database:

  1. Run the Easy-IP Configuration Wizard.
  2. Choose "Create new v7 database".
  3. gui
  4. On the Create Database screen, ensure the settings as follows:
    Server = Firebird Embedded Database Server
    Enter a filename for your database
    Character Set = UTF8
  5. Enter your licence details, when prompted.

Register Licence Key

To register your licence key:

  1. Save the licence key file with the filename exactly as shown.
    e.g. "V7 Trial Key.easyiplicenceV7"
  2. Run the Easy-IP Configuration Wizard.
  3. Choose "Create new v7 database" or "Attach existing v6 database".
  4. Enter the licence details that were sent to you by email.

Tip: To avoid typing errors, copy & paste the company name, email address and serial number, exactly as shown.

Upgrading your v6 or v7 database

To upgrade your Easy-IPv6 or v7 database:

  1. Run the Easy-IP Configuration Wizard.
  2. Choose "Attach an existing v6 or later database".
  3. Enter your licence details, when prompted.

Your v6 or v7 database will be automatically upgraded to the latest version.

Note: To upgrade from Easy-IPv3 or v4, choose "Create new v7 database, and import an existing database", and follow the prompts in the Import Wizard.
